Our technical capabilities

GRZ Technologies has specialized in metal hydride applications for years. By today, the company is one of the worldwide leaders in this technology. We use metal hydrides both to store hydrogen and to build hydrogen compressors (HyCo Hydrogen Compressors). We operate our own materials laboratory, in which our scientists use state-of-the-art equipment to develop new application-specific alloys. We strive to constantly improve the quality of our products for our customers. In addition to development activities, our material scientists are also responsible for comprehensive quality control.

Our experts in the field of pressure equipment are responsible for the in-house production of pressure equipment for the metal hydride applications and thus, among other things, for the further development of welding processes, for quality control, and for the continuous optimization of the designs. Due to the adapted pressure equipment production by GRZ, the costs can be minimized while at the same time, strict technical requirements can be met. Our customers thus receive a system that meets all requirements and is cost-efficient. GRZ Technologies also employs specialized thermal engineers who check and optimize the thermal system properties for our products and for customer projects. Our software specialists are responsible for the development of the system control and to support our customers in the integration of our products into higher-level control systems.

However, even if all individual parts work well for themself, a hydrogen project can only succeed if all parts play together. Only then, the technology lives up to its promise to be a vital part of an energy system capturing the energy of the sun and preserving it to power our daily lives. This is what we work for every day, a world fueled by renewable energy –  day and night, summer and winter. An energy system in which hydrogen is the dominant energy carrier and in which GRZ’s products transform low-pressure hydrogen into lasting value, delivering on-demand electric power, high-pressure hydrogen, and carbon-neutral synthetic methane.
